My favorite talent I don’t have is most likely getting buffed in future builds. The run speed increase, according to GC,

That’s good to hear! It not stacking with PoJ was worrisome, but I figured they would eventually iterate it to have a faster speed (even if right now it’s just PoJ+boost).
Though, honestly, they should probably just merge this talent with PoJ, giving it a 15% base and a 45% (or whatever) boost when that 15 yard-minimum Judgement is cast. Seems silly to make Rets spend 4 talent points on run speed boosts.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a tiny flame of hope to tend to vis-a-vis us ever seeing this talent in Ret tier 2.

I’m not sure how fair combining those two talents would be, especially if they kept PoJ in the second tier, where every prot and holy paladin (theoretically) could get their grubby hands on it.
Also, WTB the secret bribe/threat you sent to Curse so I can get in the beta too! I’m considering leveling a priest to 80… which would be my 8th 80.

She has none; such is blasphemy! I assume you’re talking about me thinking about leveling a priest so that we have a disc priest for H-LK? I’ll have you know a priest is one of the only classes I don’t have at 80, besides a hunter and a rogue. The likelihood of me leveling a priest, gearing it out, and healing for that fight within any reasonable time-frame is extremely slim. Like Ally McBeal.
Oh, and @obeyfez, Rhi put Nitro Boosts on his tanking boots to give him a pseudo-charge. I think he just likes feeling the wind in his hair.

I don’t know, I’ve seen you level a redundant Ret pally to 80 in 3-4 weeks. I’m not going to assume anything is impossible with you.
I’m trying to rack my brain and come up with a situation where I as a tank will need a gap closer in a PvE scenario, and I can’t think of anytime I wish I had one. PvP is a whole different story – my Protribution spec is probably dead (sad face), as it seems it will only be worth it to PvP as Holy or Ret in Cata.
As its your favorite talent we don’t have, whats your reasoning for a tank needing a gap closer in a PvE setting?

Quality of life, mostly. Getting to a boss and building threat first, rather than making ranged hold off a GCD or two to open up. Getting to rampaging adds faster than a ranged taunt and the time it takes to get to me. Etc.
I definitely get the quality of life increase – I love my PoJ talent and I guess I get a little envious of those OT warriors and bears who charge into a pack of trash mobs and get to pick up threat first.

Yeah. Believe me, I agonized over it. In the end, I decided the pseudo-charge was worth the tradeoff. Especially with a 30% buff.

I’ve actually been pretty good with them, I haven’t dropped a profession since Ulduar. I’m pretty happy with my Engi/JC combo at least until Cataclysm.

I noted that little bit that the crab said as well. It makes me hopeful that maybe they know that we’re a lot more fragile than people want to admit in pvp. And I normally speak from a pvp perspective, whenever I refer to balance, so as to avoid ambiguity.
Oh yeah, *insert hateful spiel about Holy paladins and the Holy tree here*.
Gotta be consistent.

Hey Rhid, I have another thing for you to test on Beta.
What is Word of Glory healing for in tank gear atm normal and crit if you take a 8/41/2 build with Guarded by the Light, Divinity and Healing Light? How does that protective shield stack up against our total health and the amount of damage mobs are hitting for?

Off the top of my head, in a build with Divinity but no other WoG-boosting talents, it hits for around 4700 with 3HP. But I will get you real numbers next time I’m in there!
