Video: How to OT BQL 25 Heroic

I never did anything like this back when I was privileged enough to get to offtank BQL. I guess the closest I’ve ever been was when tanking Loatheb back in Naxx25, I built a good threat lead then alt-tabbed out for the rest of the encounter.

    ruby sanctum is simlar for the live side tank. you spend a whole phase making bandages while the other are in the shadow side.

    and if they all die you dont get pulled in you just sit there untill your hearth stone is ready

    OTing BQL and live side tanking Halion are why I have wow twitter.

    … Halion Live side “tanking” is worse. At least with BQL there’s an enrage timer involved so I try to do as much damage as I can.

    But Halion is boring as shit. I was thirsty at one point & I actually got up from the computer to get a beer while the shadow realm was happening.

      I don’t think we need to keep people out. Unless you really think it removes any possibility of issues from Phase 3 pickup.

        I think you should let her go in, but I really would like to stay out.

        You don’t need my 2k prot DPS, and having me outside makes the pickup clean every time. You know what a hard time you guys had picking up the shadow side. Imagine adding that level of uncertainty to the phase 3 pickup.

        The tank in me says, leave me outside unless there is a serious reason for me to go in. It’s the conservative way to do it, and I like it.

        Now, putting the healer inside, that I see. I think I should stay out and just pop a cooldown if the healers are slow to come through the portal.

    Is there any real reason to keep a tank in the physical realm? AFAIK there shouldn’t be any trouble with him doing dps for phase 2 with everyone else and then picking him up quickly for phase 3.
