Paladin t10 revealed

I’m not going to ninja mmo-champ’s picture, but nonetheless, it’s kinda badass. I’m a fan. Especially of the whole “knight” vibe to it.

I’m hoping that pink part of the helmet isn’t textured correctly yet. Looks out of place.

Gets my thumbs up.

Edit/Update: I’m hoping this is the color/version that gets used in the end.

There’s a version floating around with a dress. I hope Blizz isn’t serious.

Eh, looks alright to me. Kinda reminds me of Tier 6, with the shoulders having the glow and all. Could be worse, I suppose.

Looks very much like shaman gear to me. I don’t even understand where you are getting a “knight” vibe except maybe the chin guard part. It looks like leather or mail to me…

Skulls? On a *paladin* gear? O_O

That looks so out of place…

@ToyChristopher: Yeah, all the helm. Reminds me of this guy a bit.

That purple/pink “chin guard looks a lot like the “ribbon” running under the shoulder guards. Interesting choice of accent, but I think I like it. Just make that damned dress a lie.

I wish they’d put the face guard down. Also – I love my pally kilts/skirts/whatever. T2 and T8 were definately some of my favorite getups.

It’ll be a dress again. The reason you see it as legplate is that the modeler tends to do that with plate dress.

@BigFire: Sigh, I know. I’m enjoying blissful denial while I still can.

@Adgamorix: The t2 dress was great, t8 less so. I just think two dress tiers in one expansion is a bit much. Also, a “Use:” function for the helm that toggles faceplate up and down would be awesome.

@Rhidach – Don’t disagree with you about two kilts in one xpac being too much. Personally, I’d like to have the choice. Let me pick between the two. Doing a /use on the helmet would be a bit much – the warriors and DKs would be jealous.

I’m just glad they don’t make different sets with different models -meaning tanking and dps is pants, healing is a kilt. That would make hiding as Holy – but with a big 2H – less fun.

just sad that the val’kyr theme for pallies/priests didn’t get used at all… definitely not a happy camper and the only good thing about the tier 10 is the helmet.

I quite like this set also, there are alot of people disapointed in it but i think it does quite well considering the whole T10 theme is “infultration into the citadel” ie dark and scourge based.
My only issue with the set is the “cowboy” neck tie and the fact that the entire thing is wrapped head to toe in purple ribbon im not quite sure i see the need for ribbon which looks good on the shoulders to continue down to the gloves and belt.

Totally reminds me of a space marine, the way the ‘helmet’ is shaped he basically has the visor flipped up.

I kind of have an issue with the fact that they are deviating quite a bit from the “Bringer of Light” type of gear. T6 was the pinnacle of the visual representation of this aspect of our class.

I am not a Lore junkie, in fact i don’t even read quest text or pay attention to bosses speeches unless its a queue for me to pot or pull. I just feel that there is something wrong with having a flaming skull on the helm of a paladin.
