This is how I spent my night

Staring at Vezax’s cast bar, watching it tick all the way to the full two second cast of Searing Flames and then bathing us all in the warm, glowing, warming glow of his massive aoe.

Then suddenly Demogar is dead, because of course, this cast happened during a Surge of Darkness. And I’m on my fifth t-shirt of the night because the previous four are soaked in sweat and tears, and honestly who wants to wear a wet, salty t-shirt? This isn’t the beach for chrissakes.

Allow me to paint you a picture–nay, allow me to MS Paint you a picture.

This is how I spent my night:

interruptffs

Arrgh.

I’m so happy my one interrupt is on the GCD. It made me nigh useless in this fight because by the time it became apparent that everyone freaked out and blew their interrupts on the last cast I’m still .7 seconds into my global and there’s only .6 seconds left until Vezax gives us a nice area of effect wtfpwning.

On the bright side, we left early enough that I could get the other Col10 team done for the week.

I am so done with Ulduar.

Haha, I know exactly what you mean. Happens to me every time too.

“Are you guys TRYING to give me a heart attack?”

Lies; Arcane Torrent is off the GCD and now interrupts NPCs instead of simply silencing them.

But I feel ya, I get pissed when a rogue misses an interrupt (i.e. Fel Fireball in Trial). It just makes me feel like the world stopped spinning.

I play a protection warrior, but I’m usually on interrupt duty for Vezax. Even with an interrupt that is off the GCD, I feel the same way.

It kills me because we had 6 players doing a rotation of 3… So the first cast was interrupted by 2, the second by 2 and the third by 2 then back to the first group of 2.

And we STILL managed to screw it up… Granted I fat fingered my Shield Bash once leaving it on cooldown when I needed to use it…but my backup didn’t interrupt and neither did any of the other 6 players with an off GCD interrupt when I was screaming “SOMEONE INTERRUPT”

Makes me die a little inside.

@Antigen: I’m an idiot, I should have thought of that. Thanks for the tip!

No problem; love the blog, btw. My prot offspec shocks me with a cattle prod every time I look at your Armory. I keep telling it that it’s an “offspec” and not a “main spec,” but it doesn’t listen.

Thanks I appreciate that. I enjoy reading yours too, you’re a very funny writer. I’m ashamed it took me this long to add you to my blogroll, haha.

Yeah we were having this problem every now and then while doing Hard Mode last night, it was really frustrating when you wipe after you kill the animus.

I just cant find enough time to interrupt when im always in a GCD. Our locks were riding 110% threat the entire night and i was at 25% mana. You gotta love General…

WTS pro rogue, will trade fior your eternal souls…

no seriously, I have had this issue only once, and it was with a pugged rogue, rest of the time, our top notch rogue (Izna) is the only one on interrupts for that fight, and it works wonders.
