I'm quite excited to see how the EH project turns out.

I think you'll find a DK to be a confortable counterpoint to your paladin, close enough to feel familiar, but different enough to be interesting. Where being a DK is really fun is the pre pull. When everyone's clammoring for buffs, and the paladins are scrambling to calibrate their pally power correctly, DKs just hit Horn of Winter and go back to sleep.

I definitely prefer the lull before Icecrown to the Lull before Ulduar, because my guild was terrible in 3.0. Figuring out how to avoid being the guild that breaks up due to boredom is much easier than trying to figure out how to suck less.

Either way, I can't wait to see a working copy.

Are you on Google Wave yet, by the way?

Not so much of an excel jockey but a plug and chug. It's like the pally healing spreadsheet I used to use, or the hunter spreadsheet. There will be a few boxes where you can enter information, damage mitigation from armor, X and Y values, etc. And out pops your EH value. I'm pretty sure that after a few weeks of using it, we will create some lose guidelines such as when y=a value, drop all bonus armor for stam, when Y and X have less than a certain value use those gimmick armor trinkets, etc.
