when wow started i first played a shaman. I remember tanking as a shaman back then before i switched to alliance. It was only until i got into the alliance did i learn shamans couldnt tank D:

Enhancement did have a lot of tanking-esque talents back in the day when Shamans and Paladins were considered kind of “fake tanks” in Vanilla. I think in TBC a lot of those got streamlined out (from shammies; somehow we made the cut). Kind of funny to think that Blizz actually considered shamans tanks back in the day.

Wasnt there a first tier talent for enhance that had improved block or something? Funny enough, once I started up a shaman alt I really wondered where that went. (I was gonna level resto, damn you!)

I love people that can do this – I agree, he’s a hero. Kinda like that rogue that tanked Illidan and Gruul. Pulling stuff off like this is always great. I also am sure that people will still be doing this, even after the change in Cataclysm.
